The Beyounic plugin configuration is carried out using plentymarkets assistants, making it easy to follow, as all the configuration is centralized in one place and can be adjusted at any time.
You can locate the Configuration Assistant under: Setup » Assistants » Plugins » {name of the plugin-set where you have the plugin installed} » Beyounic configuration.
Upon accessing the assistant, you will discover five steps that need to be set up.
API Configuration #
During this step, you will be required to provide the API-key and partner ID, which you should have received from Beyounic.
Smartlink Configuration #
During this step, you need to select the Variation Property where you will store the Smartlink generated by Beyounic for the variations in plentymarkets.
How to create a Variation property you can find here.
Please ensure that the Variation Property you create is of Type “text.”
Order note configuration #
The Beyounic plugin will generate order notes containing all the necessary information for item customization provided to Beyounic, which will be visible to the shop owner. In this step, you must select a plentymarkets user under whose name the order notes will be created.
Order Status Configuration #
Beyounic will handle your product customization and shipping to the customer.
As a result, orders containing Beyounic items should be managed differently in plentymarkets.
The order status will be influenced by the order status on Beyounic, and tracking numbers will also be generated within the Beyounic system and synchronized with the corresponding plentymarkets order once they become available.
Due to this, you are required to map Beyounic order statuses with plentymarkets order statuses.
As a result, when the Beyounic order status is updated, the plugin will automatically update the corresponding mapped order status on plentymarkets. Additionally, it will add an order note to the original order, documenting the changes made.
Customizations #
During this step, you have the option to enable or disable certain Beyounic customization details that are visible on the Basket, Basket, and Order Summary pages.
Once all the steps are completed, simply finalize the assistant, and the configuration will be saved. You can return anytime to update your main configuration.
