In this documentation, you will find all the necessary information to understand what data is exported from plentymarkets to your Shopware shop through the connector and what configurations are required.
Export of Categories #
Once a day, we export categories from plentymarkets to Shopware. Since our connector operates with referrers and mandants, you need the following configuration on the plentymarkets category to export it to Shopware:
The category must have an activated client “Mandant” responsible for your Shopware shop.
This setup allows you to control which categories should be exported to Shopware. All essential information is extracted and transmitted to Shopware. Additionally, all values available in multiple languages are exported in their respective languages on Shopware.
Hierarchy and positions are preserved. The connector will generate a root category with the name of the client (mandant), allowing you to designate this category as the primary input for the category tree in your sales channel configuration.
Certainly, ensure that the Category export cronjob is activated in the Basic Settings assistant. If you wish to assign specific layouts for Main or Sub-level categories, please refer to this documentation for further guidance.
After exporting categories to Shopware, the respective categories will be automatically assigned or unassigned to items during the inventory export.
Export of Attributes #
Attributes are exported from plentymarkets to Shopware once per hour. Due to differences between plentymarkets and Shopware, plentymarkets attributes are imported as properties in Shopware.
Since attributes on plentymarkets do not have referrer or mandant options, no additional setup is required. Attributes will be exported automatically if the cronjob toggle for attributes is enabled in the Basic Settings assistant.
All values are exported in multiple languages if available. Attributes will be used to build parent-child variations on Shopware based on activated attributes for child variations on plentymarkets automatically.
Export of Delivery Times #
Every hour, our connector will export delivery times (availabilities) from plentymarkets to Shopware.
Delivery times will be automatically set for a product based on the availability value on the variation during the inventory export.
Export of Tags #
Every hour, the connector exports tags from plentymarkets to Shopware, enabling their addition to variations later. To export tags, ensure you have added the client (mandant) responsible for your Shopware shop configuration. After the tags are exported, the connector automatically manages them during inventory management processes, supporting multi-language functionality.
Export of Units #
Every hour, the connector will synchronize units available on plentymarkets with Shopware. No additional configuration is needed; just ensure that the Units export toggle is enabled in the Basic Settings configuration assistant.
After the units are exported, the connector will automatically maintain them based on the selected value on variations
Export of manufacturers #
If the Manufacturers export cronjob toggle is active in the Basic Settings configuration assistant, our connector will export manufacturers from plentymarkets to your connected Shopware shop once a day. The manufacturer’s logo will also be synchronized.
After the export, the manufacturer’s value is automatically maintained based on the selected value on the variation.
Export of Variation Properties (Eigenschaften) #
Our connector will automatically export configured variation properties (Eigenschaften) from plentymarkets to your Shopware store every hour. They will be exported as properties on Shopware.
As long as variation properties (Eigenschaften) have visibility settings, make sure that the referrer and client (mandant) are added to your variation property. Only if these values are added, the variation property will be exported to Shopware.
Our connector supports the following types of variation properties:
- Whole number
- Decimal number
- Text
- Character String
- Selection
- Multi-selection
The connector automatically manages variation properties and values based on the available data for each variation. All variation properties are maintained in multiple languages.
